Abstract
Despite an increased building occupancy, ADB headquarters has improved air quality, achieved reductions in energy, paper, water use, waste generation, and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions thanks to sustainable procurement practices and its Energy, Environment, Health, and Safety Management System (E2HSMS).
Resource management, and the health and safety of citizens play an important role in achieving sustainable economic development. ADB, which has long been at the forefront of helping governments in Asia and the Pacific, realizes this.
