Law and Policy Reform at the Asian Development Bank Volume 1

Asian Development Bank | April 2000
    Abstract
This report presents an assessment of the insolvency law regimes of ten Asian economies. As the Asian region continues to strengthen its insolvency laws, the findings of this technical assistance and the good practices presented therein will hopefully provide useful benchmarks and recommendations for reform. The good practices indicated in the study must, of course, be adapted to each country’s unique circumstances, institutional set up and capacity. Underlying each good practice is a set of practical issues, and there may be more than one way to address each issue.
