Disabled People and Development: Philippines Country Report
Asian Development Bank | June 2005
Abstract
This report describes the major factors that affect the lives of people with disabilities in the Philippines. The participatory process used to carry out the work, described in Appendix 1, ensured that the recommendations reflect the experience and advice of key stakeholders, particularly persons with disabilities. Collectively, this report and the process completed have served to focus attention on the imperative for addressing disability issues in national and ADBled growth and poverty reduction strategies.
