Abstract
The 1996 Country Synthesis of Postevaluation Findings for Sri Lanka is a report integrating the major findings and lessons learned from the implementation of completed Bankassisted projects in the country as presented in the respective projects' Project Performance Audit Reports and Project Completion Reports. The report aims to encapsulate and analyze the key factors affecting the implementation and operation of Bank-financed projects so that the lessons learned can be used to improve the design, implementation, and operation of future development projects.
