Improving Governance of the Social Health Insurance System in Mongolia

Abstract
Mongolia's efforts to reform its social health insurance system have been stalled by governance and institutional issues. This brief recommends policies to help strengthen the country's social health insurance. This policy brief aims to contribute to the ongoing debate in Mongolia’s social health insurance reform. It focuses on the governance and institutional issues of the social health insurance system, which have stalled the reform process over the past decade.
