The Asian Development Bank (ADB) approved the Public Communications Policy (PCP) 2011 on 25 October 2011; it became effective on 2 April 2012. This annual report reviews implementation of the policy from 1 January to 31 December 2012 with updates on the implementation status of new measures introduced. Preparatory work for introducing the 2011 policy included an extensive series of internal and external outreach activities as well as establishment of new systems, guidelines, and operating procedures. More than 500 external stakeholders in 13 countries were briefed on PCP 2011 and approximately 1,700 staff attended internal briefings at ADB headquarters and selected field offices.
