Integration Indicators: ADB Asia Regional Integration Center
The Integration Indicators Database is an interactive database that features a set of indicators to monitor progress on regional cooperation and integration. Covering the 48 regional members of the Asian Development Bank, the database has 12 trade indicators, 8 foreign direct investment (FDI) indicators, and 17 money and finance indicators. Examples of indicators include intraregional trade share, trade intensity, intraregional FDI flow and share, and portfolio share. Global indicators which measure an ADB member’s openness to international trade, investment, and financial markets are also available. Downloading data takes only a few steps–select indicators, select reporting economies or groupings, and then select years starting from 1990. For regional data, trade measures of regional integration in areas of trade, investment, and financial markets are presented. For global data, measures of a country’s openness to international trade, investment, and financial markets are given. For commodity data, measures of regional trade integration are presented.
