Abstract

Updated yearly, this ADB Fact Sheet provides information on Italy's contributions to ADB in terms of capital subscription and funding, the country’s delegates to ADB, and the involvement of Italian companies and consultants in ADB projects. Italy is the 15th largest shareholder. It has contributed $989.82 million in capital subscription and $932.72 million to special funds since joining in 1966. Italian companies and consultants have been awarded $1.28 billion in procurement contracts (based on nationality of contractor) on ADBfinanced projects since 1967.
