Abstract
Updated yearly, this ADB Fact Sheet provides social and economic indicators on Nepal as well as concise information on ADB's operations in the country and contact information. Nepal is a founding member of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Cumulative lending to the country has reached $2.63 billion, with investment grant projects amounting to $603.25 million and technical assistance (TA) of $148.31 million. Assistance supports work in agriculture and natural resources, education, water supply and other municipal infrastructure and services, transport, information and communication technology, finance, energy, public sector management, climate change, and social protection.
