This ADB Fact Sheet provides information on Brunei Darussalam's contributions to ADB in terms of capital subscription and funding and the country’s delegates to ADB. Brunei Darussalam is a high-income country with an economy driven mainly by the energy sector. The country has a small population, with two-thirds of its workforce being migrant labor. Brunei Darussalam has contributed to the Asian Development Fund (ADF), which is ADB’s window for concessional lending to its borrowing members, and to the Technical Assistance Special Fund (TASF), which provides grants to borrowing members to help prepare projects and undertake technical or policy studies.
