dc.description.abstract | Updated yearly, this ADB Fact Sheet provides social and economic indicators on Afghanistan as well as concise information on ADB's operations in the country and contact information. As a founding member of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Government of Afghanistan has been supported by ADB over two periods since 1966. Resuming its partnership with Afghanistan after a hiatus from 1980 to 2001, ADB—in collaboration with other development partners—supports the national development strategies and the national priority programs, which remain the agreed foundations of the partnership. | |
