Abstract
As the technology costs for renewable energy have decreased, especially in
the case of solar, their installed capacity has grown by leaps and bounds. This is particularly relevant for developing countries where renewables were once seen as untenable due to their high cost compared to traditional, fossil fuel-based power generation.
