Asian Development Bank and Fiji: Fact Sheet

Abstract
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has been working with Fiji since 1970. As of 31 December 2014, $417.26 million in loans and $30.72 million in technical assistance have been provided to the country to support infrastructure development.
ADB and the government have since formulated a new country partnership strategy for 2014–2018 to provide the foundation for higher, more
inclusive growth, and assists Fiji in achieving its Millennium Development Goals. Cumulative disbursements to Fiji for lending and grants financed by ordinary capital resources, the Asian Development Fund, and other special funds amounted to $283 million.
