Bangladesh: Chittagong Hill Tracts Rural Development Project

Abstract
In 2000, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) approved the Chittagong Hill Tracts Rural Development Project to help reduce the incidence of poverty in the CHT and to provide a confidence-building environment to underpin the peace accord signed in 1997. This brief provides an overview of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Rural Development Project in Bangladesh.
