Community Management of Rural Road Maintenance
Asian Development Bank | June 2012
Abstract
This policy action research addressed the lack of an institutional mechanism that would enable planned maintenance of rural roads as intended by the Vietnam Rural Transport Strategy 2020.
It contributes to the achievement of project objectives through designing and piloting a community-based rural road maintenance model which benefits rural communities with better access to markets and infrastructure.
