Establishing the Water Financing Partnership Facility

Asian Development Bank | November 2006
    Abstract
In response to the huge unmet water needs of the Asia and Pacific region, and consistent with the recommendations of various international initiatives2 to double water investments, ADB has made water a core business area under its medium-term strategy II.3 ADB envisages doubling its water investments to well over $2 billion annually. This will represent a significant contribution to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in the Asia and Pacific region
