Evaluation of Water Supply Projects: An Economic Framework
Tadle, Ma. Arlene M. | June 1990
Abstract
The paper will limit itself to the review of isolated water supply projects, specifically, for households. Thus, discussion will focus on provision of supply for direct consumption or final consumers and not on such ocher purposes as inpuc for production and recreation which are pares of Che multipurpose projects. Measures of benefits which relate to improvement in Che quality of water supply while deemed very important is beyond the scope of this paper. Likewise, public, utility pricing issues which are necessary in justifying investments on small-scale water supply projects are not included in the paper's discussion.
